Our ambition:
Improving life conditions of rural population by promoting energy efficiency awareness and sustainable, environment-friendly construction and production technologies. We have outstanding know how in reaching European standard house insulation levels under the use of natural, organic and local available insulation materials.
Our history:
The origins of our Organisation go back to the Central Asian Mountain Partnership (CAMP), a program financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation which was implemented from 2000 to 2007. On initiative of the Swiss architect Ruedi Kunz (Oekofacta GmbH) CEEBA was founded as spin-off from the CAMP program.
Since then, we have conducted many practical trainings in house insulation as well as theoretical seminars on energy efficiency and passive solar design in several Central Asian countries. We have been engaged in the design and realisation of so far 7 well insulated and seismic stable demonstration buildings.
From 2009 to 2011 the German Architect and Energy Consultant Dipl.-Ing. Till Blumenroeder was working as integrated CIM* expert in our organisation, facilitating capacity building in the field of energy survey methodologies and passive solar building design.
As energy efficiency is a matter of increasing importance for sustainable economic develop-ment in Central Asia we are young and dynamic growing organisation.
Our fields of competence:
Trainings / Seminars - practical and theoretical, for craftsmen, VET-teachers /VET-masters, house builders, facility-managers...
Information - awareness rising and information campaigns
Consultancy – building energy surveys, passive solar design concepts, consulting in certification and legislation projects on energy efficiency in building, quality management, site management
Research & Development - technologies and tools for processing organic materials, adding to the value chain of rural farming, like straw and reed thermo-insulation and solar fruit drying. Monitoring of pilot projects.
